TIN-FC - NSDL NETWORK


1. What is a TIN-FC Network?

NSDL has appointed Shell Transource as a Tax Information Network / Facilitation Centre (TIN-FC) with ability to appoint its own Franchisees. Shell Transource has already appointed more than 250 TIN-FCs as its Franchisees who have been successfully operating for more than 4 years now.


2. What is expected of a TIN-FC Franchisee?

A TIN-FC Franchisee should be a practicing Chartered Accountant with a good office in a Central location. He should be able to dedicate two of his staff for this activity along with two PCs and Internet Bandwidth. To know the complete details download our Terms and Conditions document. 3. What services can I offer as a TIN-FC?

As a TIN-FC you are authorized to offer the following services:
a)Acceptance of PAN / TAN application
b)Acceptance of ETDS / AIR returns
c)Acceptance of paper returns
Besides the above Shell Transource actively markets its KPO services, which are rolled out through its Franchisee Network. These services will depend from time to time based on client’s requirements. The Terms and Conditions for such assignments would be communicated based on each assignment.


4. What are the other Terms and Conditions?

a)Interest free refundable security deposit is expected and an Annual Franchisee support charge is also expected to be paid for.
b)The entire process is certified under ISO and your centre would be subject to audits by NSDL or Shell’s own ISO auditors.
c)You are expected to adhere to the laid down IT practices in terms of software back up, anti virus etc.
d)You are expected to keep regular trained staff for the purpose of accepting the forms.
